    WHY WE DO IT?
    हम यह क्यों करते हैं?
    Art & Culture are fundamental to society and civilization. The stories we tell through art, help us understand our world. It is the sharing of ideas, from person to person, that builds the identity of a community, a society, a culture, a city and a nation.

    After all, art and culture are but expressions of humanity. They create a sense of belonging and connection to our lived experiences, to our history, to our life and to each other.

    At Arthshila we understand that artists and audiences alike need a medium to interact and engage with the diffusion of ideas through a network of culture.
    हमारा यह अटल विश्वास है कि कला एवं संस्कृति, समाज और सभ्यता की नींव हैं और कला के ज़रिए हम जो कहानियां एक दूसरे को सुनाते हैं, वे दुनिया को बेहतर समझने में हमारी मदद करती हैं। एक व्यक्ति से चलकर दूसरे अनेक व्यक्तियों तक साझा की जाने वाली ये सकारात्मक कहानियाँ हमारे समुदाय, समाज, संस्कृति, शहर और देश की पहचान बनाती हैं।

    आख़िरकार, कला और संस्कृति मानवता की अभिव्यक्ति ही तो है। ये अभिव्यक्तियाँ हमारे जीवन के अनुभवों और इतिहास से उपजती हैं और आपसदारी का भाव कायम करती हैं। इस तरह हमारे अन्तरसंबंध भी प्रगाढ़ होते हैं।
    हम यह भी भली- भांति समझते हैं कि कलाकारों और दर्शकों को सांस्कृतिक साझेदारी द्वारा विचारों को संप्रेषित करना होता है और इस उद्देश्य को हासिल करने के लिए एक साझा और खुला माध्यम बहुत जरूरी है। अर्थशिला वही माध्यम है।

    Takshila Educational Society (TES) is devoted to making knowledge accessible. We are invested in creating access to knowledge through transformative spaces with a human-centric approach. Founded by Mr. Sanjiv Kumar in 1997, we have been on a journey to deliver meaningful impact across varied communities. We currently have active presence and practice in 4 different sectors, mainly - Education, Social Development, Art&Culture and Literature/Publishing.


    तक्षशिला एजुकेशनल सोसायटी(टीईएस) ज्ञान को सबके लिए सुलभ बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। हम मानव केंद्रित दृष्टिकोण और परिवर्तनकारी विचारों के ज़रिये, सभी के लिए ज्ञान तक पहुंच बनाने को प्रयासरत हैं। श्री संजीव कुमार द्वारा 1997 में स्थापित यह संस्था, आज विविध समुदायों में अर्थवान योगदान करने को समर्पित भाव से जुटी हुई है। हम आज 4 क्षेत्रों में सक्रिय रूप से उपस्थित और कार्यरत हैं – - शिक्षा, सामाजिक विकास, कला, संस्कृति और साहित्य/ प्रकाशन।
