Goal 1: No Poverty Poverty has become a serious problem for the world. Poverty is defined as a condition that lacks basic needs due to population growth, lack of money, food, cloth, shelter, education, medicines, etc. Due to a lack of basic needs poverty is getting worst day by day. Many people do not afford to get proper food, cloth, and a home for their daily life and they sleep on the road and footpath. Children never get proper education, nutrition, and a happy childhood environment. Poor people are thus forced to enter the wrong paths and do crimes for a living. We must take some immediate actions to reduce poverty. Helping the needy is not a charity but an act of justice. It is man-made and can be removed by our actions.
Goal 2: Zero Hunger Today Hunger is a crisis that has billions of people in its grip. Hunger is the major concern issue. Every 5 seconds a child dies because of hunger. Over 800 people live every day with hunger as their constant companion which is exactly one out of every 9 people on this earth. Hunger contributes to poor health status results in malnutrition and frequent hospitalization. Food availability can be affected by things like extreme weather, improper storage, pests, and diseases, or the economy. Earth NGO addresses world hunger with a liberal distribution of food partnering with local communities and conscious brands. Remember, your waste is another person's meal. Don't waste food.
Goal 3: Good Health And Well-being Health is the most precious asset of our life. Good health is the greatest blessing that a person can have. Only a healthy person can enjoy life to its fullest. In general terms, health is the ability of a human body to work properly. Nowadays, the world is suffering from a major health crisis because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Earth NGO works for better maternal health as well as good health for children. Right nutrition at the right stages of an individual’s life is extremely important. We believe that this can be achieved with easy access to good health care services. Earth NGO works relentlessly by improving service delivery and by generating innovative care-based approaches.
Goal 4: Quality Education Investing in quality education is the basis for improving people's lives and contributing to sustainable development and ensuring sustainable economic and social growth. Despite the great progress already achieved, discrimination and poverty still maintain many people far from a quality education. We should ensure the right to education of vulnerable people, eradicate illiteracy and promote an education based on human rights. We Earth NGO ensures that most marginalized and neglected strata of the society get the opportunity to access quality education along with survival skill sets to make an impact in their lives. It also imparts highly important 21st-century knowledge to these strata to succeed in the globalized world. Quality Education leads to a globalized world.
Goal 5: Gender Equality Gender equality is an unfinished business. It is defined as a state with equal ease of access to resources and opportunity regardless of gender. Same footing men and women, free from all prejudices and stereotypes is gender equality. Over 130 million girls are out of school and out of the world's illiterates two-thirds of them are women. So we need to empower women and girls and ensure their equal rights. We should address the problems of equity and equality so that we can all grow together. We, Earth Ngo, believe in equal opportunity regardless of age sex, colour, and location. We are against any type of discrimination.
Goal 6: Clean Water And Sanitation Did you know that water scarcity is one of the top urgent global crises? About two-thirds of the world's population have trouble accessing clean water and good sanitation on daily basis. This crisis is getting worst day by day and the expected demand for water will be 40 percent higher than the supply in 2030. We request you to stop wasting water and work on projects that can save water for our generations. Earth Ngo aims to ensure the availability of water and sanitation for all. We want clean drinking water and a private place to use the toilets for everyone. So be a globally responsible citizen and work together in getting clean water for all.
Goal 7: Affordable And Clean Energy Did you know that over a billion people live without electricity? Most of these people live in rural areas. And while they have to make do without any electric power at all, the rest of the world is using more and more electricity every year. Most of it is generated by unsustainable, non-renewable sources which are harmful to the atmosphere. Earth Ngo targets the problem and aims to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all. What we can do to fix these issues? By converting sunlight into energy. By Generating electricity with hydro energy. By Harnessing wind energy.
Goal 8: Decent Work And Economic Growth Every year over 3 million fatal and non-fatal work-related accidents take place. Earth ngo wants full employment and decent work for all. Each year the global employment rate continues to rise and that has led to over 200 million people not having a job. Without decent work, people are exposed to the risks like poverty hunger, and loss of good health. Besides the pandemic creates the worst situation all over the world. Earth ngo aims to lower unemployment rates increase awareness in job creation opportunities and end modern slavery and human trafficking. For a stronger economy, we need better working conditions in regards to safety equality and fair wages to achieve sustainable development we need to reach several ambitious goals.
Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure Industry and innovation rely on effective infrastructures like safe roads, transportation, clean water, and electricity to function on a local and international level. We all have a goal to achieve sustainable development for a world where everyone has access to improve infrastructure industry and innovation. Because when good infrastructure is in place entrepreneurs can make existing products and services even better and the nation prospers for the benefit of everyone. Transforming underdeveloped villages into model villages by investing in sanitation, new roads, and sustainable energies. Infrastructure is all around us. When infrastructure is strong, people can connect and work together on innovations, and this, in turn, creates more job and support a thriving economy. Good infrastructure can innovate, create and drive the industry forward so that everyone benefits together.
Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities Did you know that the richest 1 in the world has more wealth than the rest of the population in the world combined? There are many types of inequalities based on age income sex disability sexual orientation religious classes and opportunity and these all continue to persist across the world and because of it, we fail to achieve sustainable development. We all are interconnected and global inequality affects everyone no matter who we are or where we are come from. Therefore, we need to reduce the inequality in the world and make our societies more inclusive earth ngo believes we can do it so what are we waiting for?
Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities We will be close to 10 billion people by the year 2050 and by that time 2/3rd of the population is living in cities. We know that as cities urbanized and more energy-consuming buildings which lead 75% of carbon emission. Urbanization affects freshwater supplies, the living environment, and public health. If everyone does just a little bit we can change the world into a better place for all. So what we can do? Buy fair trade fruit at least once a week, reduce the use of a car, and conserve resources: reuse and recycle, join campaigns that support sustainability, educate family and friends to encourage actions.
Goal 12: Responcible Consumption and Production Everyone deserves to live in a world where we produce just enough of what we need and reuse the stuff that we've done. So the house streets are kept clean and our green places stay green. There are so many ways for us to cut down on the consumption of the stuff that we use to cut down on the production of the stuff we make. Plastics are dumped in the sea which makes life difficult for sea life but demands for things are rising and thus more and more production. More cars, more gas, more plastic packaging leads to more suffering for everyone. We Earth Ngo is working hard to cut down on the things we make, things we use, and the things we throw.
Goal 13: Climate Action You know that global temperature has been rising and increasing the number of storms. Global sea level and emission of CO2 have increased. Over 6,00,000 deaths occur worldwide every year due to climate change. It melting the ice and rising sea levels which ultimately affects millions of people and animals. If everyone cooperates and stands together we can change the world into a better place for all. We just need to reduce energy, efficient water consumption, walk or use public transport, reduce meat consumption, develop awareness among people. Be a responsible citizen if you want to live in a world that minimizes natural disasters.
Goal 14: Life Below Water Life below water is important because it has sustained human civilization and development for many. If any part of the world pollution has been causing is become incredibly dangerous. At this rate, more than half of the world's particular species will become clear in the next century. The Earth's most vital resource is threatened. Fisheries crime has halved the world's fish stock. Greenhouse gas emissions cause ocean acidification. 8 tons of plastic are dumped in our oceans every year. The problem underwater is so devastating they have to be saved on land. Help them and help yourself!
Goal 15: Life on Land Worldwide 2.6 billion people depend directly on agriculture to earn a living. 1.6 billion depends on forests for their livelihood. Forests are home to more than 80% of species that are at the rate of extinction. We all deserve to live in a world where life on land is protected. Humans make up just 0.01% of all life on earth yet we have the power to protect it for generations to come and everyone has a role in helping to secure the future of terrestrial. Earth Ngo targets to protect and restore life on land. End deforestation and restore degraded forests, protect and prevent extinct species, combat global poaching and trafficking of species these are a few ways to focus by which we can achieve a better life on land.
Goal 16: Place, Justice and Strong Institutions We want our communities to look peaceful inclusive and fair but too often our world can be a dangerous unjust place you might think most violence occurs in wars between states, in fact, three times as many people are killed in non-conflict settings because they are close to the people. Local governments can recognize and respond to these challenges by involving citizens in decision-making and reaching consensus in their communities reaching out to traditionally excluded groups and delivering equitable services being transparent and accountable. We all want to live in a peaceful world when neighbors live side by side in harmony countries work together to solve problems and everyone feels safe and secure.
Goal 17: Partnerships Partnerships are a business that is owned jointly by at least two people. For global challenges, we require global solutions we need people with different skills ideas, and customs to work together to solve problems that affect us all and we all have a role to play to achieve sustainable goals in the future. Air, water, and other basic necessity belongs to everyone so it's up to every nation to make it cleaner. If only half of the world is working towards this goal while other halves pump out the greenhouse gases it will be difficult to achieve partnerships between nations give us hope that even a problem like climate change can be solved but partnerships are not simple require equality and mutual respect.
