We’re looking for a seasoned admissions manager, in the field of undergraduate law, selling a program like BBA-LLB.
This manager will be responsible for carrying the admissions target of two universities: IFIM Law School, Bangalore and Vijaybhoomi University, Mumbai. This position works very closely with the Director - Admissions & Student Services to meet the assigned targets of both universities, and has potential for growth.

Roles and responsibilities :

  • Design the admission process in an optimal manner
    • Work with the university administrators in developing strategy for admission criteria, tests, and policies.
    • Evaluate the candidate profile, with the help of academic records, standardized test score, etc. Ensure, all applications are received on time.
    • Be a part of the admissions committee during student interview process and enable is selection of the target quality students.
    • Provide university campus guided tours to visiting parents and prospective students.
    • Work towards developing, maintaining and executing a communication plan to the prospective and enrolled students.
    • Act as a POC for the student till the joining date.
    • Develop and monitor statistical records to be able to improve recruitment strategies, yield management, forecasting, and overall operational efficiency.
    • Provide information to prospective students and their parents about the university and its enrolment policies. Meet the enrolment goals in the target university.
  • Oversee all marketing activities, assess effectiveness and make changes
    • Assist in preparing a marketing plan that promotes the institution’s visibility and general recruitment efforts.
    • Participate in all Admissions related events and be the institution’s representative.
    • Ensure program information is up to date on university website and any other online/social media. Work with marketing department to ensure the same.
    • Help Marketing Manager to Liaise with agencies for university participation in various Education fairs/Exhibition pan-India.
    • Track effectiveness of marketing activities and provide feedback.
    • Participate with the marketing team to design activities within assigned budget and aligned to strategy.
  • Team Management & Coordination duties
    • Manage, mentor & guide a team of Admissions Counsellors
    • Collaborate with staff, faculty, administrators and internal departments to research and resolve complex student issues relating to admission, registration, late drops, refunds, administrative drops and withdrawals.
    • Monitor compliance with accreditation authority and university regulations with regard to admission, registration, student payment and related student records.
    • Participate in a variety of meetings, committees, taskforces, and/or other related groups to communicate information and facilitate continuous improvement of programs and services.
    • Interact with finance with respect to student payments & refunds.
  • Data management & reporting
    • Collect and analyse a variety of complex data and information regarding admission, registration, online processes, telephone helpline, and direct services.
    • Summarize findings in applicable reports or other communication mediums.
    • Present admission and registration information to a variety of audiences.
    • Analyse information from multiple sources to enable better lead conversion.
    • Maintain statistics related to performance & success rate and channels that have been effective.

Key Purpose of the Job

The Consulting/Managing Editor would be primarily in-charge of developing the in-house journal - ‘FOCUS’ - for both the print and digital versions.
In addition to being in charge of FOCUS journal, the Consulting/Managing Editor would be responsible for the development and publishing operations of various faculty/student content including but not limited to Edited Volumes/Working Paper series. Key Responsibilities

  • Development of the ‘FOCUS’ journal, in line with the direction set by the Management.
  • Preparation of all external communications of JAGSOM and Vijaybhoomi University including but not limited to Press Releases, Website Content, Marketing Materials, Brochures.
  • Development and Preparation of Social Media content for JAGSOM.

Job description: The ideal Research Fellow would be an active young researcher who is open to learning and is ready to work with Research Associates and Faculty members to engage in active research and to convert student research projects into quality research papers that are publishable in Scopus/WoS/ABDC indexed/category journals.

Additionally, he/she will be expected to work with research associates and faculty members on funded projects, corporate projects, and patents within a structured time frame in a systematic and transparent fashion. The Research Fellow will also get an opportunity to work with senior Professors on their personal research projects and with various Centres of Excellence, resulting in a superior learning experience for selected candidates.

This includes the overall development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). This position participates in internal audits and processes to sustain and build a quality culture in the Insitute that meet the requirements of students & certifying bodies

Educational Qualification / Experience required: Graduation is mandatory, and post graduation is desired with 3-4yrs of work experience.

Ownership of the Quality Management System:

  • Work under the guidance of CAG to design, build, deploy, control, measure, review and improve the Quality policies and objectives
  • Document all processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives at IFIM.
  • Work with IFIM internal teams to draft the Quality manual to ensure all jobs have well defined processes, procedures and process owner.
  • Map the process flows and record/track the changes/updates in the process manual and ensure it gets captured in the QMS in a timely manner.
  • Co-ordinate with the process owners and CAG and work towards continual improvements of the QMS, ensuring that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and provision of services in the most cost- and resource-efficient manner, creating room for expansion, growth, and profit.
  • Work closely with the Head of HR to ensure adherence to required quality processes - Hiring & Exit data, Peformance assessment records in accordance with required of certification bodies etc

Internal & External Audits - Planning & Management:

  • Plan and conduct internal audits in accordance with the Quality management Policy.
  • Check for the QMS conformity during the audit process.
  • Record for non-confirmity. Discuss this with the process owner and understand the implications of the non-confirmity. Also, report the incident with CAG & Management.
  • In the cases where non-confirmity is because of process/procedure improvement, work with the process owner to revise the module reflecting the deviation so as to improve the quality of service & student experience
  • Ensure that appropriate actions are taken for any non-confirmation(s) from QMS
  • Conduct student/ user surveys to measure satisfaction & advise on ways of improving satisfaction levels
  • Undertaking the necessary preparations including advising faculty and staff and providing information for external quality audits and reviews by awarding bodies to ensure positive outcomes.

Design and conduct periodic training:

  • Design a professional development strategy to ensure that the training needs are analysed and prioritised to develop a training plan
  • Design and conduct periodic training to educate IFIM employees about the importance of QMS.
  • Ensure all new IFIM employees are introduced to QMS as a part of induction process and specifically the modules related to their job responsibilities
  • Suggest initiatives for development of quality processes & practices

Reporting to the management:

  • Draft and provide various QMS reports such as defects/deviation reports, execution reports, requirement reports and change requests, iteration reports to the Management on a regular basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading strategic outreach initiatives designed to maximise visibility and reach to target audience for Vijaybhoomi University, JAGSOM (formerly known as IFIM B School), IFIM Law School and IFIM College
  • Nurturing existing relationships and building new relationships with outreach partners - Counsellors, School administrators, School Principals, Portal Partners, Coaching Centres, Influencers, and other Trusted Enrolment Partners
  • Delivering interactive & engaging activities/sessions across outreach partners for students and parents.
  • Conceptualising and executing events like Principal and Counsellor meet, Open Houses, Career Workshops, and other marketing.

  • Conceptualizing, planning and end to end execution of Digital Marketing Campaigns for Vijaybhoomi University, JAGSOM (formerly known as IFIM Business School), IFIM College and IFIM Law School

  • Experience in working in all digital marketing aspects and channels, including but not limited to Website management, Email, Content, Organic Social, Paid Social, Landing page creation, Influencer marketing, etc.
  • Create and implement weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly campaign reporting, marketing strategy and plans.

Position: (Sr.) Manager - Admissions

Key Purpose of the Job: This position is responsible to attract students of higher quality into IFIM year on year. At the same time, this position ensure that both class wise numbers and class wise revenues are met.

Educational Qualification / Experience required: Graduate in any field with 10+ years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design the admission process in an optimal manner
  • Oversee all marketing activities, assess effectiveness and make changes

Design the admission process in an optimal manner:

  • Work with the IFIM administrators in developing strategy for admission criteria, tests, and policies.
  • Evaluate the candidate profile, with the help of academic records, standardized test score, etc. Ensure, all applications are received on time.
  • Be a part of the admissions committee during student interview process and enable is selection of the target quality students
  • Provide IFIM campus guided tours to visiting parents and prospective students
  • Work towards developing, maintaining and executing a communication plan to the prospective and enrolled students.
  • Act as a POC for the student till the joining date.
  • Develop and monitor statistical records to be able to improve recruitment strategies, yield management, forecasting, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Provide information to prospective students and their parents about IFIM and its enrollment policies. Meet the enrollment goals in the target IFIM Institute

Oversee all marketing activities, assess effectiveness and make changes:

  • Assist in preparing a marketing plan that promotes the institution’s visibility and general recruitment efforts.
  • Participate in all Admissions related events and be the institution’s representative.
  • Ensure program information is upto date on IFIM website and any other online/social media. Work with marketing department to ensure the same.
  • Help Marketing Manager to Liaise with agencies for IFIM participation in various Education fairs/Exhibition pan-India
  • Track effectiveness of marketing activities and provide feedback
  • Participate with the mktg team to design activities within assigned budget and aligned to strategy

Team Management & Coordination duties:

  • Collect and analyze a variety of complex data and information regarding admission, registration, online processes, telephone helpline, and direct services.
  • Summarize findings in applicable reports or other communication mediums.
  • Present admission and registration information to a variety of audiences.
  • Analyze information from multiple sources to enable better lead conversion.
  • Maintain statistics related to performance & success rate and channels that have been effective.
