Dr. Sinha is an enterprising leader & planner with 30+ Years of extensive experience with State Bank of India Group including Top Executive assignments as Business Head- SME Mumbai Circle, and Industry Studies Vertical Head, Corporate Office; 5 year experience with rich contributions at State Bank Academy.
Dr Sinha has extensive & outstanding operational experiences as 3 times Regional Business Head of 40-50 Branch Managers (including the Best Regional Manager & Chairman Club Awardee) and 6 times Branch Manager (Metro, Urban, Semi-urban, Rural branches).
His doctoral thesis was on Asset Liability Management in banks in India. He has published over 50Papers / articles in reputed Journals. He has spoken at Several National / International Conferences as a Speaker / Panel Experts.
His current research interest includes: MSMEs Financing: Issues & Growth Challenges, Customers’ Perceptions on Digital Banking Services; Risk Management in Banks with reference to Interest Rate Risk; Machine learning techniques & Credit rating slippages; Rehabilitation of SMEs; NPAs recovery including effectiveness of SARFAESI Act etc.
He has received several awards including Cooverji Hormusji Bhabha Research Scholarship & Award from Indian Banks Association.
