Dr. Kamalika Chakraborty

Dr. Kamalika’s doctoral thesis, titled ‘An Investigation Into Coping In NGOs In Third World Countries’, explores strategizing in transition economies, characterized by multiplicity of institutions. Prior to joining Jagdish Sheth School of Management , she was associated with MYRA School of Business as an Assistant Professor in the area of Strategy and Management. Her key research areas of interest include strategizing under institutional transition, organizational theory, strategy as practice, social entrepreneurship, post-colonial perspectives in management, alternate forms of organizing, entrepreneurship.

She has presented papers in international conferences and published her work in international journals like Critical Perspectives on International Business and Social Enterprise Journal and has received several awards for her research work. Prior to her PhD, she was working with Indian Oil Corporation Limited for three years as a Process Engineer.
