HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Syneron AC laser is used to target some of the main factors such as P. acnes bacteria, which cause Nodulocystic Acne. This treatment:
SCHEDULE:
Duration: 20 minutes.
Frequency: 2 sessions a week.
Number of treatments: The entire treatment normally takes 6-8 sessions.
Chemical peels can be used to treat both facial and truncal acne. This procedure involves application of chemical solutions to the area being treated, causing the skin to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The damaged skin cells are removed, revealing healthier, smoother and wrinkle-free skin underneath.
TYPES OF PEELS
BLACK Peels: These are anti-infective peels that use black acetic acid and can be repeated weekly for four weeks. They are very effective for nodulocystic acne.
YELLOW Peels: Can be used weekly for 3-4 sessions for moderate acne.
AZELAC/MANDELIC/MELANOSTOP Peels: Can be used for mild acne and for mild post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation post-acne.

Duration: 20 minutes
Frequency: Intervals of 12 days to two weeks
Number of sessions: 3 to 4
Intralesional injections are used to treat isolated acne pustules by injecting the drug at the diseased site, with minimal absorption elsewhere. These treatments have made great headway with patients reporting tremendous improvement in their skin health, confidence and self esteem.
