The PGA Championship scheduled for May 14-17 has been postponed over coronavirus concerns, the PGA of America announced. The event was due to be held at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. It follows a previous announcement by Augusta National that it has postponed the Masters that had been scheduled for April 9-12.

The first stage of qualifying for this year's U.S. Open has been canceled due to coronavirus concerns, the U.S. Golf Association (USGA) announced. The championship scheduled for June 18-21 at Winged Foot in Mamaroneck, New York is still on, however, with the USGA labeling speculation as to its status as premature.

The Masters, the tournament comprising the world's best golfers, has been postponed because of concerns about the coronavirus, Augusta National Golf Club said. People from all over the world attend the Masters at Augusta National, which this year was scheduled for April 9-12.
